The former whipper-in of the Middleton Hunt has been cleared of an offence under the 2004 Hunting Act.
Mark Baldwin was found not guilty following a trial at Scarborough Magistrates Court today. Baldwin had been charged with hunting a wild mammal with a dog, contrary to S1 Hunting Act 2004.
The charge was in relation to a fox was killed by foxhounds at a Middleton Hunt meet on the 25th January 2023.
